Nsukka Crusade

I have just returned from Nsukka, Nigera a few hours ago (where the clips in the video above are from) where we were overwhelmed, once again, by the goodness of the Lord as multitudes were saved delivered and healed. The final count of the decision cards indicates that 1,109,900 people received Jesus as their savior during the 5 days of meetings which were attended by over 1.5 million people. During these meetings I preached the Gospel in 3 of the evening services and 2 of the FIRE conference meetings which were also very well attended.

Since I did not have internet access on this trip I was unable to post the pictures as they happened. I am now posting the reports that went out from Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke each evening after the crusade. Once I receive the pictures from the photographer, I will post more plus more healing testimonies.

DAY ONE

We just returned from the first crusade-meeting here at Nsukka. 125,000 attended on the university-field. God’s power simply came down. It was such an honor and also pleasure to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A huge number of people received salvation and many notable miracles happened: cripples walked and blind eyes opened! DAY TWO

Dear Partners in the Harvest,

Tonight the crowd grew to 280,000 people, which is more than double last night’s. Evangelist Daniel Kolenda ministered the gospel with great authority and fantastic results! I am proud of my young colleague.

But something happened the night before I have never seen in my entire ministry: Mrs. Regina Attah came with her 3 children Umeka (12), Chinwendu (10) and their brother Chukwudi (7) to the meeting – all three children totally blind; Umeka for 8 years,Chinwendu for 2 years and litte Chukwudi for 1 year. When I prayed for blind eyes to open in the name of Jesus, all three children received perfect sight at the same moment, “at the twinkling of an eye”, so to speak! It is almost not to be believed, but everything was checked out with great care. Please have a look at the attached picture taken by Oleksandr Volyk. The crowd went wild for joy. We will report more details of this glorious miracle later.


DAY THREE

Dear Partners in the Harvest,

It rained tonight, but the crowd still grew to 300,000. The Gospel was boldly proclaimed and a rich harvest of souls reaped! Since so many sinners find salvation, there must be great joy in heaven. Many miracles followed the prayer for healing for the sick, like a little boy of 7 years old, deaf and dumb from birth, completely healed. Remember last night’s testimony of the Attah-family with three totally blind children who all received perfect sight at the same moment? We followed this story up and went to their village… It is absolutely true and glorious what Jesus has done and everything is completely confirmed.
Jesus “was moved with compassion when He saw the multitude…” the Bible says, and He still is until today. What an expression of love. Mount Calvary was the volcano-heart of God. I thank the Lord that He is not an extinct volcano and did not burn out there and exhaust His love in one supreme effort. Calvary fire is still as fresh as ever, eternal and inexhaustible. In our eyes, Calvary was the high peak of Divine love; we cannot point to any greater act. “Greater love has no man than this.”
The Fire Conference attendance by church-workers reached 35,000 and had tremendous impact today. It will be concluded tomorrow. We believe in a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord has promised.

DAY FOUR

Dear Partners in the Harvest,
Today 400,000 gathered on the University Ground at Nsukka/Nigeria for the CfaN Gospel Crusade (see attached picture). I really wonder myself were they all came from, because Nsukka is a relatively small town. Daniel Kolenda preached again and did very well. The love and grace of God for the salvation of the lost was overwhelming. We truly serve a mighty God. We are evangelists and want to be true to this calling and the Lord of the Harvest. Christ died for us. That event was a cosmic explosion of love and goodness, shattering the rock-solid walls and iron gates of every bondage that ever tyrannized humankind.

A check for a billion dollars would seem nothing when crammed into a pocket, but it opens vast possibilities to the payee. That Good Friday-act of redemption in the darkness of the Cross changed everything: Jesus the Carpenter from Nazareth turned the wood of his cross into the door of heaven. Only Jesus saves because only Jesus died to be able to offer what he offers. Nobody else stands where he stands – glory to God!

Speaking again of tonight, a flood of miracles moved in, confirming the preached Word of God mightily.
This morning the Fire Conference had its climax in a massive Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. 45,000 delegates crammed into that small stadium (see attached picture). Wow, it was awesome! I am absolutely sure that God laid the foundation for very many future-ministers and future-Gospel-ministries.

Tomorrow is the last day, and we expect even greater things. Please continue to pray for us – and especially for the finances so that we can continue with this glorious harvest of souls.

Fire Conference

DAY FIVE

Dear Partners in the Harvest,
Nsukka: We just returned from the final meeting, where 425,000 people had tonight gathered to hear the Word of God. It is amazing, that during this whole event over 1,500,000 people attended. Our counselors are still counting the completed Decision Cards, but it will be a terrific number. The churches have braced themselves for the influx of new converts – we are sure that nothing will be the same as it was in Nsukka-Land. Have a look at the crowd-picture of tonight. I am sending only one photo today so that you may see the “full blast” of what the Lord has done. We truly serve a mighty God.

We also prayed for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit tonight, and the fire of God fell wholesale. Then followed the prayer for the sick and miracles upon miracles took place. Healing proves that long ago the work was done, by the mighty act of God in Christ. To give us his Son was greater than making the stars. It was the greatest act of a God who performs the impossible. To suggest that he could not or would not heal a sickness is ludicrous. A mountain in labor does not bring forth a mouse, and Mount Calvary did not bring forth a minor effect; God’s labor produces more than words, or a text book doctrine; it produces power, hope, forgiveness, and healing.

Covenant Community Fellowship - New Albany

As many of you know, in addition to evangelism, I have been involved in church planting initiatives for several years. Three wonderful churches have been planted as a result. This past weekend I traveled to New Albany, Indiana (just outside the city limits of Louisville KY) to minister in one of those churches...Covenant Community Fellowship.

Even though the church is only a few months old, the Lord has blessed them with an incredible facility, a highly anointed (and talented) ministerial staff and a bunch of wonderful people. They have been experiencing notable signs and wonders there, and I felt Sunday that they have only seen the beginning. After the service, on the way to the airport the wind began to blow. Bands from hurricane Ike came raging through shaking our car as it drove down the road. I made it out okay but received reports later that the wind had gotten worse, power was out and a lot of damage was done. The picture below is from the house of one of the pastors.

F.I.R.E.

Last week I had the privilege of ministering in Charlotte, North Carolina at FIRE Church and FIRE School of Ministry, led by Dr. Michael Brown and Rev. Bob Gladstone. I myself am a graduate of the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry of which FIRE School is an offshoot. Most of the faculty members at FIRE were my professors in the Brownsville days, and the atmosphere of fire and revival is the same. I felt very much at home.

On Thursday night I ministered to the church, encouraging them to live dangerously for God. Then on Friday morning I was able to speak to the senior students of the school. I know they will go on to do great things for God.

In Season and Out (Kafanchan, Nigera – Crusade Report)

Ten years ago Kafanchan, Nigeria was ground zero to a bloody rampage of Islamic extremism against the local Christians that left hundreds of churches burned to the ground. These acts of aggression were world news at the time and the one event for which the region was known…until recently. This August, Christ for all Nations held a Gospel Crusade in this very city. Aware of the volatility of the region and unsure of what awaited us there, we went, knowing that the heart of God is to seek and to save those that are lost. As we approached the city, still miles away, crowds were lining the streets and burst into joy at the sight of our caravan approaching. Finally, Evangelist Bonnke poked his head out of the sun roof of his SUV and the people were ecstatic. It was evident from that very moment that we had landed on some extremely rich soil and a mighty harvest would surely follow.

This Crusade fell into the Nigerian rainy season where daily downpours are the norm. The CfaN team calls this the "Out-of-season" crusade because of the inevitably unfavorable weather conditions. Our crusade organizer, who was in Kafanchan for 2 weeks prior to the event, told us that every day they were receiving heavy rains from morning until night. He said it was "heart-breaking." We were praying that the Lord would hold back the rains enough to allow the Gospel to be declared and a harvest of souls to come in. Our prayers were answered in a most spectacular fashion. On several occasions it rained for a couple hours prior to the meeting. But when the preaching started, the rain stopped. And as soon as the altar call was over, the rain started once again. It happened too often to be coincidental, and although there were a couple of occasions during the five days of meetings when it did rain during the service, it was mild enough that it never hindered the preaching of the Gospel.

I preached two of the five evening messages that were each accompanied by a wave of salvations and incredible healing testimonies. One night after I had finished praying for the sick, I was already taking testimonies on the platform when I sensed the voice of the Holy Spirit prompting me to pray for those with HIV AIDS. I took a break from the testimonies and prayed once again for those with this terrible disease that has ravaged the African Continent. As I was praying, one young man with AIDS was suddenly hit by the power of God and fell to the ground. That night he had a dream. In his dream, Jesus came to him and told him that he was healed. The next day, inspired by the dream, he went to his doctor and requested another blood test. The following evening I interviewed him on the platform as he held his doctors report in the air. There on the report were the words so clearly written. HIV NEGATIVE!!! Praise the Lord.

One woman testified that she had been unable to bear children, but three years ago she attended a CfaN crusade in Jos/Plateau state. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke prayed at that meeting for women with barren wombs. She received it by faith and 9 months later her beautiful baby “Mercy” was born.

A deaf mute, handicapped from birth suddenly heard and spoke. A 7 year-old girl blind from birth was suddenly able to see. We saw her wince as the bright lights on the platform hit her newly healed eyes. Many more testimonies were given…too many to mention. And each night as we left the field there was a huge line of people still waiting to testify of all that Jesus had done.

In spite of the reputation Kafanchan has for violence, we were protected by the mighty hand of God and felt very much at peace the entire time. In the end there were exactly 738,615 decision cards collected from people who had responded to the call of God and received Jesus Christ as their Savior…not bad for a week's work – In the rainy season. Thank you for your prayers which really do make a difference all over the world.

Paris On Fire

At the end of June, I ministered in Paris at the Christ for all Nations Fire Conference along side Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke and Rev. Siegfried Tomazsewski. In the final service, more than 6,000 people packed out the "Palais des Congrés de l’Est Parisien" where the meetings were held. Many wonderful testimonies of healings and hundreds of salvations and an outpouring of Holy Spirit power, were the highlights of the meetings.

Conclusion of Amazon Crusade

As we pulled up to the stadium we could see that it was filled to capacity and hundreds of people were standing outside wishing to get in. The venue, reminiscent of a baseball stadium, could potentially seat 50,000 people if all the grass on the sports field was used for seating. Unfortunately, the city authorities restricted us from using the field to seat people, so the bleachers, which could accommodate 25,000 people standing were completely filled.

The platform, which was set up in the best position for everyone to see, had about 200 yards between it and the nearest person. I would say a line, wait for the interpreter to interpret, then wait for the sound to reach the people then wait to hear their response. Because of the distance, I could not see the expression on one single face. It was a first time experience. A short panoramic of the crusade venue

The distance barrier however did not hinder the people. They received the Gospel with great joy, and as the altar call was given, they began to pour onto the field making the long journey to the platform to accept Christ. Those that came forward knelt in the grass and repented of their sins putting their faith in Christ and were born again. Those who answer the altar call kneel before the Lord as they receive salvation

One very special treat was to have the worship led by my friend Antonio Cirilo. When he began to play I could feel a strong tangible presence of the Holy Spirit flood the field. Testimonies came in that people were healed during the worship. I have posted a clip of his worship (not related to the crusade). You will be blessed. Even though it is in Portuguese, the anointing transcends every language barrier.

Sunday I preached twice in a wonderful, thriving local church there in Santarem. Afterwards we went to an authentic Brazilian Churrascaria, and then, one of the pastors took me on a boat tour of the Amazon River. This area of the River is flooded for six months out of the year. During this time, the water rises more than 16 feet, and most homes, elevated by stilts are surrounded by water. The people, who cannot plant or harvest crops, simply have nothing to do. They canoe from place to place and wait for the water to reside. The pastor told me about their ambitious church planting initiative that has resulted in dozens of churches along the Amazon. We visited one such church to which most of the little village's inhabitants were members. Though it had no walls or chairs, it stands as a symbol of the faith of a village that has been won for Christ.

Catching Up

Much has happened since I wrote last. With almost constant travel and many new adventures, it has been difficult to make the time to blog. I am now in Calgary, Canada and will be posting several "catch up" blogs with pictures and reports of the most all that has happened in the last several weeks. Welcome to the Jungle

When I say that we go to difficult and remote places, it is no exaggeration. This past Tuesday I began my journey to the Brazilian Amazon jungle. 32 hours and 11 flights later, we are here! This morning when I woke up, I was greeted by a tropical paradise. From my window I can see a huge tributary of the Amazon river that winds its way through the landscape like a python. It is a beautiful land, but also very poor. I am told that it is one of the most poverty stricken areas of Brazil. The people are poor but very hungry for God.



Tonight I will preach in the largest venue available...the local stadium. I will preach a classic Gospel message and then pray for the sick. I am anticipating the miraculous to break out like a pent up geyser and for age old principalities of the air to receive the news...their reign of terror has come to an end, because Jesus is Lord!



Please pray for us. Pray for the crusade tonight, that it would draw the multitudes of lost and sick people to be saved and healed. Pray that there would indeed be a demonstration of Holy Spirit power here that would shake the land and bring an outpouring of salvation deep into the jungles of the Amazon. Finally, please pray for our health and protection.

Kickin' the Devil Out!

After tonight’s service at the youth camp in Montgomery, Alabama, one young man came up to me and hugged my neck and said, “Thanks for helping me kick the Devil out of my life!” I would say that was the theme of the night. After I preached on the blood of Jesus, the young people answered the call, surrendered to Jesus and kicked the Devil out of their lives. One guy was dramatically delivered of demon possession while many looked on. They had never seen anything like it before. Several young people testified to me of being personally set free from addictions and compulsions including homosexuality, pornography and self-mutilation. When I see what Satan is doing to the youth, it makes me all the more determined to preach the yoke-destroying message of the Gospel which is the only answer for this generation. Sometimes when it comes to demons and demon possession, most people immediately think of the third world...India, Africa or Haiti. But the truth is that even in the refined cultures of western civilization, demonic activity is just as rife and often happens right under our noses. We may diagnose it as some medical disorder and treat it with drugs or psychotherapy, but there is only one real solution. We have to do what these young people have done tonight through the power of the blood of Jesus. We have to kick the Devil out!

Taiwan Will Never Be the Same!

As I write this, I am sitting on an airplane returning home from the Fire Conference in Taipei, Taiwan where the Fire of God fell in a powerful way. This was not an ordinary conference. I really believe that it was a pivotal moment in the nation’s spiritual history. The Lin Kou Stadium, which seats 13,500 people was packed out. In addition 110 churches around the country were participating in the meetings via live broadband webcast. Through these overflow broadcasts, the fire conference was taking place in EVERY CITY and ALL 26 PROVINCES in the WHOLE NATION...Including all of the Islands at the same time! The combined total of REGISTERED delegates officially participating in the meetings was over 38,500. In addition to the registered delegates, the meetings were broadcast by GOD TV via 4 satellites with a footprint coving all TAIWAN, CHINA and ALL OF ASIA! Perhaps one of the most amazing elements of the conference is that Evangelist Bonnke distributed 25,000 sets of his Full Flame Film Series with his book, “Evangelism By Fire” FREE OF CHARGE. This film series is designed to be used in the context of small groups or cell churches (which are very successful in Asia) and inspire them to be filled with the Fire of the Holy Spirit and to launch out into radical evangelism. The possibilities are endless. The 38,500 that have received the Fire over the last couple of days, from every single city in the nation, are now equipped to equip others. I believe that this could (and will) result in a spiritual revolution in the country.


Yesterday I preached in the packed stadium where the anointing was so strong my interpreter told me that he was having trouble standing. Twice during the message the people began to cry out to God like a dam about to burst. Each time I could have stopped preaching, and I am SURE they would have received right then and there. That evening after Evangelist Bonnke’s message a mass outpouring the baptism in the Holy Spirit took place. It was so powerful. The organizer and sponsor of the conference stood before the congregation with tears in his eyes and declared, “This is what we have been waiting for.” It was obvious to everyone that there was something historical taking place and that the nation of Taiwan will never be the same.

I am happy to be returning home now to see my family that I miss very much. It has been more than a month, and we have been in Hamburg, Bremen, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Johannesburg, Durban, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Taipei. I will only be home for a couple of days before leaving again for Montgomery, Alabama where I will minister in a youth convention there.

It is not a cliché for me to say thank you for praying for us. We are on the front lines of the battle and desperately need prayer cover from the people of God. We stand back to back and fight the enemy together. The people that I am ministering to are desperate and hungry. They need a touch from Heaven. It is a life an death scenario for individuals, for cities and for nations. Actually our entire world needs this Gospel that we are preaching, and the church needs the Fire of God to preach it with effective results. Those of us that are preaching it need you!
